I would provide them the tools they need to handle issues they will come across with numbers in daily life and also prepare them for higher learning in math. As someone who enjoys the logic of math, I strive to make my passion for it contagious so that my future students will not only understand math but also enjoy learning it. With that goal in mind, I would make my lessons engaging and allow my students to tap into their own interests by offering options on assignments as often as possible. With that being said, I feel that math is very important; we use it in our everyday lives and would be lost without any knowledge of it. Teachers need to help students to understand and not just do math. We need to remember that everyone learns differently and we need to encourage that. I would want the pace of the scene to be fast, as this would give the audience a sense of urgency between the two. At the start on the scene, Antigone slips into the room followed by her sister. I would have Antigone walk on confidently and straight towards the altar in the middle of the stage, this would show to the audience that Antigone was quite confident in what she wanted to do, I would then have Ismene alk on much more cautiously and slowly, this would show to the audience that this character was much less confident and worried of being caught than Antigone. As Antigone talks, I would have her tone quite forceful and her body movement more energetic, this would show to the audience that she was passionate about what she was saying and that she meant every word. When Ismene talks, I would have her tone be more reluctant and her body movements would be much less energetic and more cautious, I would want the audience to see that Ismene was still in fear of being aught and she didnt feel the same passion that Antigone did about what she was saying. When Antigone says to Ismene that shell soon show what you are, worth your breeding, Ismene, or a coward I would have her say this louder and more aggressive, with her body movements much larger to indicate to the audience that she is almost threatening her sister with that statement and this will create tensions between the two of them, I would want Ismene to react to this by shrinking away from her, as if she was scared of her sister, this would reinforce the tension between the pair of them. Ismene says to Antigone youre wrong from the start, youre off on a hopeless quest I would direct her to do in a pleading tone, this would tell the audience that Ismene was trying to persuade her not to go, and this would also tell the audience that Ismene does care about her sister and doesnt want anything bad to happen to her. I would direct Antigones body movements to be aggressive after this, pointing at Ismene often, with her tone becoming more passionate now, this would show to the audience that she is becoming more emotional about the matter and she feels very strongly about it, also her finger pointing would show to the audience that she is sending all her aggression and the focus to Ismene. Antigone exits the stage; I would direct her to stomp off in an aggressive manner, this would show the audience a childish side to Antigone. I would direct Ismenes reaction to this as exasperated, this would affect the audience by showing them that she is tired of arguing with Antigone and when she speaks to where her sister went as is she was still there, the importance of this line is that is tells the audience that she does care for Antigone, so I would direct the actor to emphasise the words with her body language, to show the audience that she really means it. Ismene leaves towards the palace, I would have her run off the stage whilst looking scared, because at this moment the sounds of the chorus are becoming louder as such, closer to where Ismene is.

Characteristics of a Real Number What is a number? Well that depends. There are a variety of different kinds of numbers, each with their own particular properties. One sort of number, upon which statistics, probability, and much of mathematics is based upon, is called a real number. To learn what a real number is, we will first take a brief tour of other kinds of numbers. Types of Numbers We first learn about numbers in order to count. We began with matching the numbers 1, 2, and 3 with our fingers.  Then we and kept going as high as we could, which probably wasnt that high. These counting numbers or natural numbers were the only numbers that we knew about. Later, when dealing with subtraction, negative whole numbers were introduced. The set of positive and negative whole numbers is called the set of integers. Shortly after this, rational numbers, also called fractions were considered. Since every integer can be written as a fraction with 1 in the denominator, we say that the integers form a subset of the rational numbers. The ancient Greeks realized that not all numbers can be formed as a fraction. For example, the square root of 2 cannot be expressed as a fraction. These kinds of numbers are called irrational numbers. Irrational numbers abound, and somewhat surprisingly in a certain sense there are more irrational numbers than rational numbers. Other irrational numbers include pi and e. Decimal Expansions Every real number can be written as a decimal. Different kinds of real numbers have different kinds of decimal expansions. The decimal expansion of a rational number is terminating, such as 2, 3.25, or 1.2342, or repeating, such as .33333. . . Or .123123123. . . In contrast to this, the decimal expansion of an irrational number is nonterminating and nonrepeating. We can see this in the decimal expansion of pi. Visualization of Real Numbers The real numbers can be visualized by associating each one of them to one of the infinite number of points along a straight line. The real numbers have an order, meaning that for any two distinct real numbers we can say that one is greater than the other. By convention, moving to the left along on the real number line corresponds to lesser and lesser numbers. Moving to the right along the real number line corresponds to greater and greater numbers. Basic Properties of the Real Numbers The real numbers behave like other numbers that we are used to dealing with. We can add, subtract, multiply and divide them (as long as we dont divide by zero). Whether it’s from pollution or foreign matter. But I will be talking about pollution mostly. People pollute every second of the day. I’m serious. And the bad thing is that there may not be a way to stop these people from polluting. Governments and agencies have tried numerous times to encourage people to stop even if it’s slowly at a time. And now they try to help by coming out with electric cars and allow recycling more often. Yet is it enough? It may be but then again it’s most likely not. You see, the sun lets light in so we can see and have nutrients. And there is the little thing called the ozone layer that keeps a little of the sun in but not a lot of it. With the ozone layer, the heat and light from the sun bounces back towards itself. Like I said, the ozone layer only allows a little of the sun in. yet, by pollution the ozone layer becomes thinner and thinner allowing more sun to come in and fry us. I’ll break it down for you. Lets take smoke from refineries or a car. The smoke goes in to the air and mixes with the clouds. But some of that smokes breaks through and collides with the ozone layer causing erosion which makes the ozone layer thinner, allowing more sun in. Pollution is bad! But that’s not the only kind of pollution. Lets talk about out lovely streets and plants. Although its hard to call them lovely. Take an ordinary beautiful garden maintained by caring people. Example: Bob waters his garden and clears it of weeds regularly. Everyone who walks by tells Bob that his garden is beautiful with a capital B. yet what Bob and all the others don’t know is that under that beautiful garden lies deadly fumes that slowly kill the flowers. A year later, Bob finds his garden unexpectedly dying. What Bob also doesn’t know is that the house that was built on his wonderful grass has eroded over the past few years allowing the deadly material of the house to seep underground and spread throughout the yard. Therefore, killing his beautiful garden. The End. Or is it? Every day we pass by trash on the streets and don’t bother to pick it up. Some don’t because they are lazy and some others don’t because they are embarrassed. Id sometimes be counted as the one with embarrassment. But not always. Anyways, what I’m proposing is that instead of ignoring all those boring environmental commercials on  television, we should actually listen to them and join hands to erase all the pollution. After that problem is wiped out, we’d have a better place to live in and live a longer, healthier life. But first if we must start little, then it’s best if we start with the trash we see on our own streets. Recycle more often too. It really helps get waste off the street.
